MOVEMBER

As you know, this is still Movember, the month that focuses on men’s health.  The symbol, a moustache.  The slogan, “Gro a mo, save a bro.” Draw attention to the need to support research and cures for men’s health issues.

According to Movember, men experience worse longer-term health than women and die on average six years earlier. The prediction is that prostate cancer rates will double in the next 15 years. Testicular cancer rates have already doubled in the last 50. Three quarters of suicides are men.

The Movember Foundation is trying to stop men dying too young.  Donating to it will help it fund groundbreaking work in prostate cancer,testicular cancer and mental health.
